Individual Data Sovereignty

Every person has the right to own and control their personal data. Underserved communities, farmworkers, immigrants, low-wage workers, deserve technology that protects their information instead of monetizing it. We build tools that make this possible.

Self-Sovereign Identity

Entidad is a leader in implementing real-world solutions built on decentralized identity wallet architecture. Our technology enables user to prove who they are, verify their connections, and share credentials all without a central authority holding their data.

Digital Trust

Our work aligns with the Trust Over IP Foundation's philosophy: building layers of digital trust that are interoperable, privacy-respecting, and governed by the communities they serve. We architect it into every product we build.

Built for Care, Not Extraction

Big Tech platforms were built to monetize data. Entidad was built to protect it. Every design decision we make starts from a single question: does this serve the person, or does this serve the platform?

Entidad is a California Public Benefit corporation founded in 2018 by three friends who met while pursuing engineering degress at Stanford University. The company grew from volunteer efforts to support farm workers and underserved communities in California. That experience taught us something critical: the existing digital tools available to community organizations were built to extract data, not to protect the people who shared it.

So we built something different. Drawing on our expertise in decentralized systems and self-sovereign identity, we design solutions where every connection is direct, every interaction is private, and data ownership stays with the individual.
